Winter is the best time to work on individual technique and skills development for players of all ages. The goal for the FYB Winter Clinics is to keep players working on their individual development, in a group setting.

We work with players at all levels of ability to build greater confidence by seeing improvement on simple baseline metrics, in addition to general improvement through repetition. Emphasis will be to practice good habits and identify habits that may be impacting a players ability to succeed in the regular season. We aim to make practices fun for everyone.

Instruction will be by FYB coaches, current HS & college players and parent volunteers. We are looking for some parents to assist with sessions and ask that if there is interest, please sign up as a volunteer. You do not need to be an expert, we have knowledgeable coaches that will direct instruction, we are looking for adults who can learn and help support specific skills development.

The 2025 program includes 11 clinics held on Sunday afternoons at the Baseball Factory in Janesville, Wisconsin.

There are three (90 minute) sessions divided by age:

1:00 pm to 2:30 pm 1st-3rd grade

2:30 pm to 4:00 pm 4th-6th grade

4:00 pm to 5:30 pm 7th-10th grade

Each session will focus on:

-strength & conditioning

-hitting

-throwing/pitching

-fielding

There will be 4 sessions for catching: dates will be identified once our catching coach has their winter practice schedule worked out.

Cost for the Winter clinic program is $40.00 per participant, families of 3 or more will cap at $100 per family.

The registration fee includes access to attend all 11 clinics (less than $4 per clinic session); once registration is paid and confirmed, there will be an opportunity to select the dates that your player will attend. We are only able to accommodate 30 players per session and ask that families look at their schedule and only register for those sessions they are able to attend. Signups for clinics are first come first serve basis.

There is a parent lounge with a television for those who want to watch the Packer games.
