Winter work is where summer success begins -- focused effort over the winter is the best predictor of improvement in the next season. Sessions are 90 minutes long and are intended to provide players with an opportunity to improve basic elements of their game. The first 4 weeks will focus on hitting, defensive skills and throwing mechanics. The second 4 weeks will focus on hitting and pitching & catching -- as well as other defensive play. There will be a conditioning, stretching & speed aspect to each session -- some of the skills will be repeated at home during the week -- the more consistent the conditioning, the greater the results. Clinics are capped at 25 or less per session

The clinics are staffed with FYB coaches, current HS & college players and parent volunteers. We are always looking or some parents to assist with the sessions; if there is interest, please sign up as a volunteer--you do not need to be an expert, there are always lead coaches directing set programs that parents can learn and help support specific skills development.
