1st Annual Meat Raffle

Fundraising is a critical aspect of all youth organizations and Fort Youth Baseball is no exception. We are fortunate to have generous sponsors, just need to always find ways to raise the funds needed to support and enhance the program. The good news is that there is no need to go door to door selling candy bars, cookie dough, pizzas, popcorn, wrapping paper, fruit, kringles, candles, etc. (we have sold it all). The board has come up with three ways to help underwrite the cost of the program--the cost for the Spring program is $95, it costs more than twice that amount for this program to run. Sponsors, fundraisers and concessions make up the difference.

On Saturday, March 15, we are hosting a Meat Raffle at the Fort Legion Hall -- thank you to the Legion for donating the use of the hall. The event will run from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM and there will be fun for all. Highlights include:
--Multiple rounds of Meat Raffle
--Basket Raffle
--50/50 raffle
--Indoor batting cage for the kids with an --off the batting tee speed competition (see below)

The event culminates at 3:30 PM with the drawing for our 2025-gun raffle

There will be an indoor batting cage for the youth. There will be a speed gun with prizes for the top speed off the tee by age group. Do not bother bringing a $500 USSSA bat, everyone uses the same wood flat bats -- will even the playing field and be a great learning tool.
