Registration is open for the Spring Season of Fort Youth Baseball.  FYB provides all Fort Atkinson and surrounding areas youth in grades 1-10 the opportunity to play baseball.

In person assistance for registrations at Memorial Park:

April 9 (Tuesday), 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

April 14 (Sunday), 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

What players can expect:

Team Jersey and FYB cap to keep

Twice a week practice prior to games

Once a week practice after games begin

(Individual coaches may offer more or less practices at their discretion)

1st-2nd grades: 10-12 game/season

3rd-10th grade: 15-18 game/season

End of season tournament with season being done by July 17

Families to supply:

Baseball pants (preferably gray)

Baseball glove

Baseball bat (must be stamped USA Baseball)

Batting helmet

(FYB will have some helmets and baseball bats available for shared use during games)

Evaluations:

All players are to participate in evaluations. The goal is to see where players are at in their development and create balanced teams to foster more interest and competition.

April 16 (Tuesday), 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grades) @ Memorial Park

April 17 (Wednesday), 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th) @ Memorial Park

Other dates to note:

Team announcement: sometime after April 25

First day of practice: April 28

Opening weekend: May 18-19

Games occur on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays

Little League Home Run Derby Qualifier event: June 22

FYB intends to sponsor Little League All Star teams that will represent the league at district tournaments. Participation will be determined by tryout and coach observation. Tryouts will occur after the season begins.

FYB is a volunteer based program.  We are always in need of coaches, assistant coaches, team helpers, game day volunteers and board members.  Please indicate interest when you register your child or send a note to the email below. 

Safety is the number one point of emphasis for Little League Baseball, Accordingly, all coaches and other volunteers are screened through a mandatory background check prior to the season.  It is quick and painless--takes less than 5 minutes to answer question and submit information needed for the background check.
